I teach guitar across a range of styles, including funk, jazz, soul, rock, blues and pop.
My approach focuses on developing creativity and a deeper understanding of music. Rhythm and groove, along with technique, theory and improvisation, are explored as connected tools, helping you understand what you play, make your own musical choices and gradually develop a more personal way of expressing yourself on the instrument.
Drawing on over 10 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Instrumental Pedagogy, my lessons connect technique, theory and musical concepts through improvisation, rhythm and groove, and the exploration of different styles and repertoire, helping students become more versatile and well-rounded musicians.
TECHNIQUE & SOUND
Developing a solid and efficient technique, with attention to sound, articulation and control, always in relation to the music.
RHYTHM & GROOVE
Developing timing, rhythmic awareness and a strong sense of groove across different musical styles, subdivisions and rhythmic approaches.
IMPROVISATION & MUSICAL LANGUAGE
Building vocabulary, ear training, phrasing and harmonic awareness to improvise and compose with greater freedom and intention.
